Summary: The job of Afternoons Custodian was established for the purpose/s of providing custodial services at the assigned building; ensuring an attractive, sanitary, and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors; performing a variety of special cleaning operations, and assisting in preparing for and maintaining facilities for classroom activities and building-level events.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Physical demands include, but are not limited to, walking and standing for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, lift objects weighing up to 50lbs and move objects weighing up to 100lbs using appropriate equipment.

The employee is required to use the appropriate personal protection equipment when performing these tasks. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
